Great toy but no extras

We were very pleased with the quality of the grocery store but were very disappointed that it didnt come with any accessories, other than the little chalkboards. Not even chalk :) For the price, it would have been nice to have a few small items and a piece of chalk thrown in. We ended up buying accessories for another $50 or so. Gets rave reviews from our son!

While Dad found it a bit difficult to assemble due to the fact that some of the holes were not pre-drilled correctly (unusual from other great Melissa & Doug products weve purchased over the years), our son LOVES it! It is a daily playtime favourite. Stable, colourful, and he knew what to do with it right away. Just supply your own play food and a toy cash register and you are all set for hours of fun.
