a rainbow of music!
my little ones love this wooden xylophone. it catches childrens eyes, and sounds lovely. they use it as a trampoline for their doll house dolls, make songs with it and it looks so nice on our toy shelf. i give this 5 thumbs up! Posted by fern (tanya) from Kaslo, British Columbia, Canada

Maestro please...
We love this xylophone. It is very sturdy and well made and my son is by no means gently with his toys. It has also stood up well to experimentation with other materials striking it to see if they make it work. It has a lovely sound to it which parents will appreciate! Well-made xylophone
Finally a well-made and excellent sounding xylophone. Not like one of the loud tingy-sounding plastic ones. This instrument is once again well-made and colourful (like all Plan Toys). Posted by Mary from Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Tastfully made
Beautifully made toys with a simple colorful design. My son is not showing a lot of interest in it right now (he is 12 months) but Im hoping that will come! It reassures me to know that it is a healthy toy instead of the regular plastic and metal ones that are out there. Posted by Anja from Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

Kid loves it!
My son has figured out how to use this toy and seems to like it. The only unfortunate thing is that the xylophone doesnt play "acutal" notes (ie: CDEFGAB...), they are just random sounds. Posted by SHERRIE from SASKATOON, Saskatchewan, Canada

Nice soft sound
My twin nieces love this xylophone unfortunately they sometimes forget to share. Great sound which is not too loud for Mom and Dad. They do however put the narrow stick in their mouth at times.....I did buy the baby maraca too which Mom tends to be more comfortable in them using. Fun for young musicians

Good Banging
Our toddler likes banging things and enjoys musical sounds so this toy is perfect for combining the two. Its wooden construction sounds much nicer than hard plastic. Posted by Peter from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada

This toy is beautiful, but there isnt a large distinction between the different notes, not the same clear sound as on a metal xylophone. Posted by Michelle from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

For the age group this toy is targetted for, the little wand didnt work for us. Our son spent most of his time trying to chew it so we had to take it away much of the time leaving the toy unplayable. When he did use it properly it was a fun toy. Posted by Monika from Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Great wood alternative
I am always looking for ecological toys, so I like plan toys as they have a very sustainably made toys at not too high a price. This toy was really nice and my daughter likes to play with it, makes a good sound. It is a good alternative to plastic toys. Posted by Lise from Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec, Canada

Wooden Xylophone for toddler hands
Very durable and produces much nicer sounds than a metal xylophone. Big enough that even the smallest hands can use it with ease. Posted by Andrea from Calgary, Alberta, Canada
