Great concept.
This is a great concept and my kids enjoy blowing it. However, the sound is a bit more of a whistle than I had expected, and the pieces come apart a bit too easily sometimes. Other than that, its a fun toy for exploring sound. Posted by Debra from Red Deer, Alberta, Canada

Very creative toy
Much, much recommended. While we have many toys that appeal to one kid or another, this is the one which seems to attract universal interest! It appeals to the little builders as well as the musical type. One of these was offered to us two years ago (same model, but colors are solid instead of transparent) and is still in perfect shape I couldnt resist offering one to a friend this Christmas. Saxoflute
While even a two year old can get a sound out of the mouthpiece, the product is NOT much of a musical instrument but a toy. Lots of pieces that usually seem to get unused. No different sounds can be made (either by blowing into mouthpiece or putting pieces together differently. All that being said, it seems like the plastic wont break easily, so putting together and taking apart can be done often. Perhaps if the child were older, the different "designs" of the saxoflute may be more exciting to do. As well, it was not an expensive toy, so I would say it was worth the price if you like the toy. Great Concept
This sounded like a great toy, however the corner pieces fit very loosely together so my kids, 2 and 4, cannot pick it up without it falling to the floor in pieces. Wish it came with ear plugs!

Saxoflute
Twice this has been the hit of the party. One child was 3 and one 4. The sound was pleasing, the shapes the pieces made were endlessly entertaining. I frequently hear the sound of the Saxoflute in the background when I call the parents, so I know it is not just brought out when I stop over. And it is inexpensive!
