This is how the Tiramisu Cherry Stone Warming or Cold Compress work:
Cherry stones (a cherry stone is the same as a cherry pit) are safely stitched into a cotton bag, this cherry stone insert is heated or cooled and inserted into the Tiramisu Dog cover.
The pillow will keep the warmth or cold extremely well and adapts to the body form, ensuring that the warmth or cold is applied exactly where it is needed. You will find that the smoothness and pleasant warmth of the cherry seeds in the natural seed baby pillow have a very calming and soothing effect on your baby toddler or child. After the conserved heat in the pillow has been equally distributed, the pillow will retain the temperature of the environment (body temperature).

Only heat the insert - not the cover and the insert

Heat in a microwave, tiled stove, oven or heater as per instructions (1 minute to 5 minute depending on your heating source)

Always TEST the heat on the insert BEFORE giving the pillow with insert to your baby, toddler or child. The cherry seeds can get very warm

The dampness given off by the cherry seed during heating will aid in the warming/healing process

Cooling instructions for your Cherry Stone Pillow Insert:

Put the insert into an airtight bag and put it in the fridge or freezer for 30 to 60 minutes

Caring for your pillow and insert:The insert can NOT be washed - only the cover are washable at 90F.
The cherry stone insert must remain dry at all times, to freshen the insert, remove it from the cover and leave it in the sun (or just where it can get some air) for a while.
If you use your pillow regularly, Kathe Kruse recommends that the cherry insert be lightly sprayed with water to moisten it between every few uses.
