These blocks are constructed of lightweight corrugated cardboard meaning if the blocks tumble, no one gets hurt! These blocks promote motor development, hand-eye coordination, spatial thinking and encourages imaginative play. Sized as ""unit blocks"" PlayBrix can also be used as beginning math manipulatives.

Educational Insights and Imagiplay both manufacture cardboard building blocks. Educational Insights' blocks are called PlayBrix (featured here) and they are bigger and stronger than those of Imagiplay. The Imagiplay brand blocks are called Imagiblocks, Imagibricks or Imagiplay cardboard blocks.
PlayBrix cardboard building blocks have a water-resistant coating and they're safe, strong, and durable to withstand years of creative play fun.
