Great first game for toddlers Mother of 2 whos got something against plastic toys from 9/23/2008 8:52:45 AM
After a recommendation from a German friend, I got this game for my then 3-year-old. He played it obsessively with grandparents, parents...basically any adult in his life. A year on he still asks to play every 2 to 3 weeks and now my younger child is getting into it and shes not yet two (now that shes finally gotten past putting everything in her mouth). Do have to warn that the fruits are choking hazards so most of the time the game was played at the kitchen table when the little one was asleep. The best thing I like about the game is the co-operative element.

I thought this was a great co-operative game for very small children! I bought this for my niece and nephew and they really enjoyed "filling up their baskets with fruit" and attempting to stop the crow from eating all the fruit. The dice was simple large and simple to use. Being 3 and four years old they go the concept of this game quickly!

This is a great game for families with kids in the 3-8 age group since little ones can play along too. The cooperative format means that there are no tantrums (unless of course the crow wins but the game is set up so that the crow is at a disadvantage). Great fun for preschoolers.
