PlanCity Chalet Doll House by Plan Toys is a very well made, modern doll house to be enjoyed by boys and girls. The dollhouse is very spacious, featuring skylight roofing and two separate doll house units (one unit has 3 levels and the other unit 2 levels) that can be arranged in a multitude of ways or seperated and played with as two separate doll houses if needed. The Chalet house also includes all the contemporary furniture a dollhouse of this caliber will need in order to impress the neighbors! Two staircases are included in the doll house set and they can be moved where needed. Chalet doll house is designed to be accessible form all sides enhancing the play experience. What a great toy for imaginative play, encouraging children to express themselves creatively and to develop emotionally by expressing their emotions and impressions through play.
Play sets that replicate the real world give children a sense of control over their own world. This house needs to be place at a higher level to optimize using the ground floors...by the time you get the furntiture in...there isnt a lot of room to play (particulariy the living room). The kitchen has no where to place the accessories I purchased (like the coffe maker and microwave)...and it doesnt come with (or have space for) a dining table if you dont expand beyond the doll house boundaries). I would buy it again...but there are some modifications to make so it can really be played with.

Both my 3 year old and my 14 month love playing with this doll house!! The dollhouse is very sturdy and has lot's of options for arranging things around. The furniture that comes with the dollhouse is beautifully made. This toy was a good investment with lots of educational value.
